Mental Health Coaching
In the my book, Healing From Depression: 12 Steps to a Better Mood, I state that an essential tool in recovering from depression is having a “recovery partner” or “recovery coach.” This is someone who can be your guide and can help you to complete the better mood recovery program. Each week you would check in with this individual, share your vision statement, and work on your goal of the week.
Ideally, your recovery coach will be someone who lives close to you. If you are not able to locate such a person in your area, I am willing to serve as your mental health coach. We would communicate weekly by phone and by email as you participate in the 12 week program that is outlined in the book.
